Be a light - in a world that needs direction.
Why do you do what you do? Seth Godin wrote - What's your agenda? When you write, post, do - what is the action or change you seek to make?
Why do you do what you do? If you say something only to say something, then why say it? If you post an image, is it to encourage or challenge?
My favorite person in the NT (outside of Christ) is Barnabus -
He encouraged, challenged, motivated, and was a driving force - that wasn't silenced by negativity. There is no doubt his heart broke at times and going on was a challenge but . . . He is not the most quoted nor the most discussed. He didn't walk on water with Christ nor tell a boat captain of impending danger and death. But . . . he was a driving force behind - pushing forward those that would go on to do great work!
Just like a lighthouse - we will not know this side of glory how many were impacted by our light - lives saved, disasters avoided, crashes prevented. Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV) Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Be strong in The Lord!
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
